Set up your Android server

A spare Android phone can keep your home SIM connected while you travel. Start by deciding whether you need SMS only or remote calls with AI: the hardware requirements are different.
SMS does not need root. Install the current server APK, open the app, grant SMS-related permissions, register the device and pair it with your client. Enable Background service and allow the app to run in the background.
Remote calls need a supported model, exact firmware and the matching audio configuration. Root is only one condition. Our setup guide links to official Magisk resources, explains the permissions and separates automatic diagnosis from reviewed adaptation.
