Install a client on the phone you take abroad. It connects to your Android server at home.
- Choose App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android when the corresponding store link is available.
- Install the client, then register or sign in with your FebPhone account.
- Select a device already linked to your account, or add your Android server using its six-character pairing code.

02 · The Android phone at home

Leave your SIM in this Android phone. Choose SMS only, or set up a supported rooted device for calls and AI.
Choose SMS-only APK without root, or a Magisk ZIP with the server app included for a supported rooted phone. You only need the package for your chosen mode.

Use SMS without Root, or submit a first self-service diagnostic request. Remote-call audio needs a matching adaptation.

Install this ZIP through Magisk and reboot. It includes the server APK and mounts it as a privileged system app, with the required permissions and device audio support.

Install only a ZIP that matches your model and firmware. If none is ready, start self-service diagnostics with the server APK.

- Download the APK on the Android phone that will stay at home.
- Open the file and allow this installation source if Android asks.
- Open FebPhone, grant the requested permissions and keep the background service online. Root is not required for SMS or the initial diagnostic request.
Install the Root ZIP
- Complete Root using your device’s guide and confirm that the ZIP matches its model and firmware. If there is no match, start with APK diagnostics.
- In Magisk, choose Modules → Install from storage and select the downloaded ZIP.
- Restart the phone. The included FebPhone server app will appear; open it and follow the permission prompts. No separate server APK installation is needed.
The Android server is distributed here as an APK or a Magisk ZIP. It is separate from the client store download. Review the current test app’s automatic diagnostic uploads before use.

The server buttons above select the latest published version when clicked. Compare the downloaded file with the version and SHA-256 listed here.
